About Me
I've spent more than two decades inside nonprofits leading development and building community at organizations like Arizona Opera, Arizona Theatre Company, the Tucson Jewish Community Center, Up With People, and Social Venture Partners Tucson.
I know what it feels like to face an ambitious mission with a modest budget, and I know the sector too often answers that pressure by fixating on what's missing.
I work the other way.
I believe every organization is already sitting on more strength than its balance sheet shows - donors who love you, programs that change lives, people with real talent. My job is to find that strength and build it into something bigger.

Julia was an inspiring mentor, and I learned a tremendous amount from her when she led our development team. When I later moved into a role leading fundraising and corporate partnerships for a national nonprofit, I contracted Julia to provide support while we moved through a period of great growth - what a gift!
Julia is the kind of seasoned professional we all need in our corner.

Julia is invaluable asset to every team she supports. Her deep wealth of knowledge on all things development has helped us grow as an agency and me as a leader. She leads AND supports – all from a place of creativity, inclusion, positively and experience. Learning from her has been one of the greatest gifts.
